Please be informed that Yahoo native advertising will be migrated to the Taboola platform on January 1, 2024. During December, New iMedia will migrate existing advertising accounts. Yahoo Native Ads will be delivered through cooperation with Taboola, and this transition will bring unprecedented advertising advantages.

Taboola offers a rich variety of ad formats, including static images, dynamic clips, short videos, headline descriptions, CTA buttons, etc. Generate different formats of ads based on different advertising goals.

Preparation for Taboola Ad Placement

1.1 When creating a Campaign, pay attention to the following settings:

a. Create separate Campaigns according to different delivery platforms (PC/Mobile), countries, regions, etc.
b. Budget setting: Set different budgets according to different advertising goals.
c. Have reasonable CPC bid settings.
d. Campaign settings based on regional, operating system, and audience targeting.

1.2 When placing ads, the preparation of ad materials must also comply with relevant norms:

a. The advertisement images or video formats used for delivery comply with standards; use less text and avoid spliced images or obvious Photoshop traces.
b. Ad headlines should be concise (within 25 characters) and pay attention to grammatical norms in different languages.
c. Actively utilize the support of rich ad placement formats.

2. Specific material size specifications for ad images, motion ads, headlines, and videos for reference:

2.1 Image specifications:

a. Maximum size is 2.5MB; recommended image formats are JPEG, JMP, PNG, or WEBP.
b. Minimum size: 1067×600 can be displayed in all display size positions.
c. Aspect ratio: 16:9 (recommended), 4:3, 1:1.
d. When advertising material appears in an image, it is recommended to place the information in the center of the screen (as shown).

e. Avoid image clutter; photos should ideally have a clean image with a single focal point.
f. Try to use striking colors in images to attract user attention; avoid using sketches, brand logos, and default images.

2.2 Motion Ads specifications::

a. Supported formats: GIF, MP4, MOV
b. Aspect ratio: 16:9 (recommended), 4:5 (minimum)
c. File size limit: Video 50 MB, GIF 5 MB
d. Size (resolution): 1076 x 600
e. Length: Up to 15 seconds


2.3 Titles:

It is recommended to limit titles to within 25 characters. Although titles or descriptions can exceed 25 characters, they may need to be adjusted according to different platforms and devices.

2.4 Video:

a. Media types: MP4, MOV
b. Third-party code specifications: VAST2.0, VAST2.0 with VPAID2.0JS, VAST3.0
c. Aspect ratio: 16:9 (preferred), 4:3, 1:1
d. Video size limit: 50MB
e. Bit Rate: Greater than or equal to 2500kbps
f. Video length: 6-30 seconds (recommended), up to 90 seconds
